CD Received

Edinburgh Toon by North Sea Gas (2009)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? 24 July 2010

First of all, we would like to thank Linda, the manager of the Scottish band North Sea Gas, for sending us this, and other North Sea Gas CDs over the years. We had requested a possible replacement for a CD that had been literally "worn out" through constant playing on the radio. :) The CD that we requested was out of circulation, so Linda was kind enough to send us a copy of Edinburgh Toon - the band's newest CD at that time. And we have received many more of North Sea Gas' CDs from Linda. They are a very popular band among our smattering of Scottish listeners that we have who listen to the show.

Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists for us to play songs from this CD and others by North Sea Gas.

CD Received

Big Dog by Seven Nations (1996)
Genre: Celtic Rock
When did we receive it? Sometime in 1996, I think.

First of all, we would like to thank whoever sent us this CD. Seven Nations is an extremely popular band on our show and although we don't have very many of their more recent CDs, we do have one or two of their earlier CDs in our collection. We are just spending the day listening to Seven Nations CD to reacquaint ourselves with some of the cuts on this CD. Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists as we may be playing a number of Seven Nations songs on upcoming programs.
