Easter With 'Proud to be Irish'
Hello everyone! :) Just a little note to share the good news officially. Today, we were asked by our friend and fellow radio show host Ed Smith - host of 'Smitty and Friends' - the show that is on directly after ours from 3 PM to 6 PM every Sunday. Smitty requested that we do four hours of 'Proud to be Irish' on Easter Sunday! :) Of course, we agreed whole-heartedly to help him out in any way that we can. :)
So, that's our news everyone: Tune in to 'Proud to be Irish' on Sunday, 8 April 2012 from 12 Noon to 4 PM EST for our Easter show. You can also log on to http://www.wvcr.com and click on 'Listen Live' to join us as well! :) Hope to see you there and may you all have a happy and holy Easter. God bless!

When did we receive it? 18 March 2012
First of all, we would like to thank Rick Bedrosian, a member of the extremely popular local group, Hair of the Dog, for stopping by and taking the time to chat with us for a little while on the radio show today. The Traveler by Trip McCool (2012)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? 18 March 2012
First of all, we'd like to thank Dennis Dougherty, a.k.a. "Trip McCool" for sending us his alter ego's new CD. We actually received a copy of this CD directly at the radio studio today and as we usually try to listen to new CDs that we receive during the week before playing them on the radio; we will certainly give this CD a spin and then hopefully start integrating cuts from this CD into our show as time allows. Please keep checking back with us for newly posted playlists each week.

Celtic Thunder Concert on PBS
Many thanks to Diane for alerting us to Celtic Thunder on PBS from 6 PM to 8 PM tonight. I watched the entire show and as Diane told me last week: "Corned beef and cabbage and Celtic Thunder. How can you go wrong?" It was a great show, Diane! :)
