First of all, we would like to thank whoever sent us this CD. Seven Nations is an extremely popular band on our show and although we don't have very many of their more recent CDs, we do have one or two of their earlier CDs in our collection. We are just spending the day listening to Seven Nations CD to reacquaint ourselves with some of the cuts on this CD. Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists as we may be playing a number of Seven Nations songs on upcoming programs.

When did we receive it? Sometime in 1998, I think

First of all, we would like to thank the management of Gaelic Storm for sending us the band's self-titled CD for airplay on 'Proud to be Irish'. We are constantly receiving much of Gaelic Storm's brilliant work from many different sources and the band certainly has quite the fanbase for themselves. Well deserved, of course! :) For those of you who may or may not know, Gaelic Storm was the steerage band in the blockbuster movie Titanic.

Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists as we most definitely will be playing Gaelic Storm's music on upcoming shows.

We are constantly receiving much of Gaelic Storm's brilliant work from many different sources and the band certainly has quite the fanbase for themselves. First of all, we would like to thank our good friend and a faithful listener to 'Proud to be Irish', Don, for loaning us this CD for possible airplay on the radio show. The Abbey Tavern is in Dublin and has hosted traditional musicians since about the 1960s. They are still extremely popular and host many stars of the Irish traditional music scene. Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists as we may play some cuts off this CD on future shows.
