May we All Someday Meet Again by The Fureys (2001)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? Sometime in 2001, I think

First of all, we'd like to thank whoever sent us this CD for airplay on 'Proud to be Irish'. The Fureys are still very popular with the listeners even after all these years of hearing their songs. Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists as we may quite possibly play some songs by the Fureys on upcoming shows.

Celtic Tides: A Musical Odyssey by Various Artists (1998)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? Sometime in 1998, I think

First of all, we would like to thank whoever sent us this CD for airplay on 'Proud to be Irish'. It has been a very popular CD so far. This CD features songs by such eminent Irish artists such as Mary Black, The Rankin Family and The Chieftains, Solas, Altan, Dougie MacLean and many, many others. We are just reacquainting ourselves with some of the lesser known songs on this CD for the show tomorrow. Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists to see if we play some songs off this compilation CD.

The Man From the Glen by Richie O'Shea (1995)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? Sometime in 1995, I think

First of all, we would like to thank Richie O'Shea for sending us this CD for airplay on 'Proud to be Irish'. He currently owns and runs an Irish gift shop in Long Island but is still involved in the Irish music scene. Please keep an eye on our newly reinstated playlists as we will definitely be playing some of Richie O'Shea's music on future programs.

The More That's Said, the Less the Better by Craobh Rua (1992)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? Sometime in 1992, I think

First of all, we'd like to thank whoever sent us this Croabh Rua CD. I don't even remember who it was, unfortunately. We used to play Croabh Rua often on 'Proud to be Irish' in the past, but we just slowly got out of the habit of playing them now. It has been great to refresh our memories about the songs that they sing for possible airplay during 'Old-Fashioned Sunday' this coming Sunday.

Another Country by The Chieftains (1992)
Genre: Celtic Folk
When did we receive it? Sometime in 1992, I think

First of all, we would like to thank whoever sent us this CD for airplay on 'Proud to be Irish'. We have played it repeatedly through the years and it is extremely popular with our listeners. As a matter of fact, I believe that this was the first CD ever played on 'Proud to be Irish' on the first show in 1992! :) We received a desperate phone call from our station manager at the time and I think that Another Country by The Chieftains was the only CD that he had brought with him to last the entire three hour long show! :)
